Natural Poison Ivy & Weed Killer
Want to get rid of that pesky poison ivy, poison oak, kudzu, or annoying weeds, without spraying harmful and poisonous chemicals all over your backyard? I have tried innumerable recipes, but this one really works. We make a big batch at a time and put into an industrial sprayer that we bought at Home Depot and spray directly on the problem areas when ever they creep up. Within minutes, you can already see results- weeds and poison ivy will start to look like it is dried and shrivel up; if you don't get immediate results, just simply spray again. Best time to do it is when the plants will get sun and heat, which will result in faster, more thorough killing of the weeds.
Poison Ivy & Weed Killer Recipe
Make a mixture of 1 cup of salt, 1 gallon of vinegar and 8 drops of liquid dish soap (such as Dr. Bronner's) in a large spay bottle. Shake until salt is fully dissolved. You can spray the poison ivy or weeds or pour it directly on the plant.
